White walls dark floors

Within hours of finding out that Brian and I would officially be in Atlanta for his fellowship training, my mind was spinning a million miles a minute. Of course I started mentally decorating our future home, where we would live and everything I couldn’t wait to show him in the city. While he’s been here a lot, it’s never for long periods of time and there’s always something going on. In June when he moves down here, it’ll be the first time we finally get to live together and I’m so excited to make whatever house we move into, a home. I have majority of the furniture that we need, but there are a few pieces I know Brian will be trying to sneak back from St. Louis (and I’ll be trying to leave there).

I’ve rounded up a few favorite inspiration ideas for our home-to-be and wanted to share them with y’all today.

I’m looking forward to bringing y’all along on the task of finding a house and making it a home!

I love all of these home pictures! I feel like I’m so boring since I love white walls with pops of color. Theo even said last night do you ever want to paint any of our walls? Nope love the neutral color! You’re going to have the best time decorating!

New homes are so much fine and decorating really is the best part. I had no idea how much work it all was until I was knee deep in it. I love all of the little additions we keep making and seeing the house come together with all my own little dreams! So fun!

Love all these photos, but the entry way in that first one is STUNNING!! Omg I would kill to live in a place like that. It’s funny since I don’t even dream about owning a house or huge apartment anymore since I know it won’t happen in NYC and I’m still unsure where I will move next. But when I see pictures like this, it does get me excited about eventually settling down.
