This past weekend my closest girlfriends and I all flew up to Pittsburgh to celebrate our sweet friend Katie’s wedding. It was most of our first time to the city and we lucked out with picture perfect weather— no humidity and sunny skies. After landing Friday morning we headed to the bride and groom’s house for a welcome brunch. We stayed at the beautiful William Penn Hotel in downtown and couldn’t have asked for a better location. I’ll admit, Pittsburgh really surprised me this weekend!
We didn’t get a change to explore the city, but I wanted to share a few snaps from the past few days.
The cocktail and reception were held at The Pennsylvanian. Originally a train station and office for the Pennsylvania railroad, the building is now a stunning event space.
Bridesmaid dresses from Weddington Way and mixed and matched all in grey.
The florals were out of this world beautiful.

SO beautiful! You look stunning as usual 🙂 The Pennsylvanian is such a gorgeous space, so glad you got to a see a little bit of the city at least! The weather is so perfect this time of year up there, a nice break from summer in the South that is for sure!

WHOA her gown is STUNNING. WOW! I went to grad school in the ‘burgh, and I haven’t been there in a few years, since a former coworker got married. And that is a gorgeous venue, one of the most amazing in the city!
It’s a really different city, and I am glad you are pleasantly surprised! Hope you tried some of the “unique” food 😉
DH and I have yet to hit up Gringo, we keep going to basically everything around it but still I have yet to get there. Dammit.
