A few weekends ago Brian and I packed up and headed to his hometown of Greenville, SC for a quick weekend getaway. Southeast Toyota was generous enough to let us adventure around in the new RAV4 and we loaded that car down!
Since we’re getting our own puppy Saturday (!!), we took care of my best friend’s adorable golden doodle Duncan while they were out of town. Give this sweet pup a ball and you by his side and he’s set. We headed to the park, windows down and sunroof open!
Saturday our bags were packed and off to South Carolina we went! If you haven’t spent time in Greenville before, it’s the cutest downtown area. During Christmas Main Street is lit up with Christmas lights, festive decor and a cute little iceskating rink. When the weather is nice, we love heading down by Falls Park with a coffee. The rushing water and green space is beautiful!

The Lazy Goat – relax over a delicious lunch or dinner.
Passerelle Bistro – grab lunch outside and order the chicken salad sandwich
Sip Tasting Room & Rooftop – a great spot to grab drinks outside
Southern Pressed Juicery – acai bowls and fresh vegetable juice to start the day
The Chocolate Moose – for when your sweet tooth strikes their cake pops are the best

Augusta Twenty – think Shopbop, but local. They carry so many great brands!
Monkee’s – a great selection of everything from shoes to dresses to jewelry
Vann & Liv – If you have children or need a gift, my friend Jenny owns this adorable little store!

Yay for a RAV4! I’ve loved those for years and their more recent models look so good! I also LOVE Greenville – the perfect downtown area! The golden doodle is adorable – it’s crazy how much darker he is than Copper. Copper’s more of a Sandy color.
Such a great treat!! Since we don’t own a car – we use a service called zipcar and get different cars each time so it’s pretty fun getting to test drive different cars all the time LOL! xo, Biana –BlovedBoston

Oh my gosh your friends doggie is SO cute. So is that car!! That is so nice that they let you borrow it for the weekend. 🙂 I have never been to Greenville but my in-laws live in Bluffton, SC and I think that they’ve been there. Maybe we can go there next time we visit them. Thanks for sharing some things to do there too! 🙂

i love having an SUV – it’s just practical for me even if i don’t have a dog and kids – gotta throw all my stuff somewhere 🙂 and love your travel bags! i have that LLBean one and use it ALL the time (with my initials of course, ha)
