Tassel Garland

Over the weekend we had family and friends over to celebrate Olivia turning 2! I kept going back and forth on whether or not to host a party (hello low energy levels at 36 weeks pregnant), but I’m so glad we decided to go for it and have everyone over! We kept it low-key and had a spread of delicious food, beverages and the bounce house set up for the little ones.

Drink Station Birthday PartyVanilla Birthday CakeMy mom and I love to bake and made the most delicious three layer vanilla cake with almond buttercream frosting. Hands down one of the best cakes we’ve ever made and it was completely gone by the end of party!giant balloons fresh garlandI picked up two 24″ balloons at Party Plan It (also can get online here) and then taped fresh greenery from Trader Joe’s down the string. So easy and I love the statement they made!
Brunch Birthday PartyBrunch Birthday MenuWe got Olivia a bounce house and it’s easily her favorite thing to play on! We ordered the one with the canopy for added sun protection and it’s been the best purchase! It inflates in minutes and deflates back down into a bag for storage. It’ll be perfect for entertaining her (and tiring her out!) with a new baby 🙂 Her outfit is from BBC and it’s the cutest! Also available in this precious pattern.
