Palm Beach Trip

A few weeks ago my mom and I headed down to Palm Beach for a girl’s getaway for the weekend and had the best time! We stayed the first night at The Colony Hotel and the following two nights at The Breakers. Both were absolutely wonderful and had very different vibes.

The Colony is SUCH a fun hotel! It’s the perfect spot for a girls weekend, a bachelorette party or a couples getaway. The staff was incredibly welcoming and hospitable and of course the interiors are simply beyond fun. Major Beverly Hills Hotel vibes. The pool is quaint and fun and the restaurant right next to it was a great spot for lunch or breakfast!

The location was perfect for walking or biking everywhere! They have an uber chic golf cart that will drop you off at the beach (complete with chairs and food if you’d like) or you can hop on one of the complimentary bikes and cruise around. We biked over to Surfside Diner for a casual breakfast and then rode around admiring all the beautiful homes on Brazilian Ave, Seaview Ave.

We were both honestly surprised by how much we loved this hotel! I can’t wait to convince my best girlfriends to plan a trip down there with me.

to eat:
+ Ta-boo
+ Pizza Al Fresco (such a fabulous ambience and incredible pizza!)
+ Surfside Diner low-key breakfast spot that has all the classic favorites
+ Buccan fantastic tapas spot for dinner!
+ Swifty’s – grab lunch by the pool or an afternoon iced coffee/glass of rose
+
The Seafood Bar at The Breakersdelicious seafood or a nightcap before heading upstairs
+ Sant Ambroeusa great lunch or dinner spot that you may recognize from New York!

The next two nights we stayed at The Breakers and it’s such an incredibly stunning and historic hotel. The service was top notch and it would be a fantastic spot for a romantic weekend away or even a family trip. They had tons of activities for kids and really seemed to cater to families well. We spent lots of time relaxing by the pools and on the beach. There are also complimentary bikes available for guests and we took the Lake Trail for a scenic tour!

When it comes to shopping you can’t miss Worth Avenue, Church Mouse or the shops at The Royal Poinciana Plaza.
