I haven’t been able to land on a name for this series…. it’s a mix bag of all the things I’m cooking/reading/watching/eyeing/buying etc. For now, it’s a mixed bag of all my recent summertime favorites that I wanted to share with y’all.

reading: I’ve been working my way through a good amount of books this summer and try to read at least 30 minutes before bed each night. It really helps me unwind and sleep better than nights when I don’t. I loved The Magnificent Lives of Marjorie Post. It’s a longer read, but so good. If you’re looking for a thriller, The Senator’s Wife had me guessing until the very end and I was still surprised. Both great reads.

watching: Air was a great movie that Brian and I both loved on Amazon prime and highly recommend. Next on our list is ‘Blackberry‘, which I’ve heard is fantastic!

cooking: we’ve been doing lots of grilling and avoiding turning on the oven if we can help it. Recent favorites are this peach pesto and prosciutto pizza (so easy!), summer garden pasta and a great veggie kabob marinade.

wearing: anything and everything lightweight to beat this heat. This is the best, most comfortable sports bra that I’ll be purchasing in other colors.  Toss one of my favorite short sleeve workout tops while you’re on the site. You won’t regret it! This gold locket necklace I’ve barely taken off and is such a special jewelry piece. This dress (runs big, size down) is the ultimate lounge piece for after the pool/beach when you want to toss something easy on. The budget friendly sandal you’ll reach for day after day.

eyeing: a classic green dress, an under $50 pickle ball bag, need these ric rac belted shorts, a colorful dress unlike any others in my closet, a pretty floor lamp for our living room

xx

So many great finds! Love anything by Tuckernuck – one of my favorite dresses is from them! And, who wouldn’t love this pickle ball bag….YES!
