I think the bedroom is one of the most special and important rooms in any house. It’s your own personal oasis where you can unwind, relax and recharge. Over the years I’ve learned that the wall color in your bedroom is a huge part of the vibe you’re trying to set.
The bolder, brighter colors are energizing and awakening. The subtle, light tones are calming and refreshing. For my new apartment we painted the walls a deep, rich navy and I have to say, so far, it’s my favorite. When the weather’s hot it seems to make the room cool and inviting. With colder weather the room is cozy and welcoming.
Here are some bedrooms I certainly wouldn’t mind having as my own…

wow! all these bedrooms are seriously amazing. i cant wait to get my own place to decorate 🙂 but at the moment i am loving my room. but its not quite as amazing as these rooms though haha x

I will take ALL those bedrooms. 🙂 I have a terrible eye for decoration, so I always enlist my best friend. She wanted to be an interior designer for YEARS so she’s awesome with it!
They’re all beautiful bedrooms! When I have my own place, I want to paint my rooms some light colors..I feel like they’re more calming! xoxoxoo
cute post! navy is an interesting wall color choice that sounds like a great one when you explain it! my bedroom is a cool cucumber green, it is like being in a spa and incredibly relaxing (i’m a stress-o-holic). love the brick wall bedroom… i have a thing for exposed brick walls. <3shelby
