Downtown Charleston SC

reading: Last month I finished The Five Star Weekend and it was good! It wasn’t one of my favorites from her, but still an easy read. If you haven’t read The Blue Bistro, please add to your list immediately!

watching: Brian and I love all things Blue Zone related, so we really enjoyed Netflix’s  Live to 100: Secrets of the Blue Zone. It definitely has me wanting to incorporating more purple sweet potatoes and bean dishes into our weekly menu!

cooking: this greek sheet pan dinner was a great weeknight option, this turkey rice bowl was simple & delicious and made a lot for leftovers, we loved this parmesan kale salad (I used another dressing I’d already made & had in the fridge) and if you need an easy fruit centered dessert this no bake fruit tart was fantastic!

wearing: one of my favorite lounge sets from last year is back (ideal to wear when family is in town over the holidays!), ordered a fun new phone case, I’m obsessed with these shearling sandals and will be wearing them non-stop (run TTS) all season, this is the most comfortable bodysuit to layer under blazers or sweaters. Right now I’m wearing it with jeans/jean shorts. I sized up one because of a long torso!

eyeing: have to add these corduroy pants to my fall wardrobe, a cozy extra layer for workouts or morning carpool, feeling the red for fall with this classic stripe top, a 2 for 1 jacket that you’ll reach for year after year and I love these color of these jeans!

xx
