In the past few weeks I’ve seen numerous bloggers sharing five things about themselves. I always love learning more about the writers behind the blogs that I follow and figured I’d join the fun and share a little more about me!
1. My real job is as a manufacture’s sales rep. I work with interior designers to help furnish any commercial property they’re working on with one of the lines that I represent. Being self-employed is one of the best jobs and a huge reason why I support small businesses. It’s a lot of hard work and travel (for me), but I can’t imagine doing anything else right now.
2. Both sides of my family are filled with sets of twins. My grandmother, mother and cousins are all twins. My younger brother was one, but there was a vanishing twin at birth. Needless to say, when it comes to that stage in my life I’ll make sure to be mentally/physically/financially prepared for the possibility of twins coming my way!
3. After living in Charleston, SC for a year after college it’s hands down my favorite city in the USA. Everyone has that city that makes them instantly feel at home. For me, that place is Charleston. The food, shopping, houses, history are all amazing and that’s where I’m the happiest. If you’re ever traveling there and need recommendations I’m more than happy to share my favorites.
4. I’m a huge book nerd. While most people have ipads and kindles filled with books, I still prefer to hold an actual hard copy. My ipad is loaded with a few books in case I’m traveling and don’t have a book with me, but it’s not my go to. I could easily spend hours in the library or Barnes and Noble and will admit to knowing my library barcode by heart.
5. My mom and I have a dream of one day opening a quaint bakery that offers a balance of healthy and indulgent treats. Baking is one of our favorite things to do together and I owe all my cooking knowledge to her. Growing up we rarely had the same meal more than a few times because she liked the challenge of trying new ones. We probably talk 2-3 times a day and most times are sharing recipes, interior design tips or the latest bargain that we scored.

**Wishing the happiest of birthdays to my wonderful brother. Today he turns 21 (watch out world!), yet I still feel like he’s a little kid. Time flies doesn’t it?

Great post – love a little more insight into the bloggers whose blogs I read! I have been in Charleston 8 years now…I do miss Orange County, but who wouldn’t? Charleston is not the worst place though, that’s for sure! http://www.styleoyster.blogspot.com

My parents almost got me a kindle for Christmas this past year and I am so glad they didnt!I think they are great for people that enjoy them, but I still need to feel the flipping of pages and dog earing pages. Also my friends and I constantly joke that we are going to move to Charleston for a year or two and just enjoy life… I wish! Have a great week!

Great post. I agree on the feel of an actual book. I still don’t own an ereader of any kind.
