We’ve lucked out with the most beautiful weather in Charleston the past few days and there’s something about seeing September on the calendar that has me excited for the changing seasons. Although honestly, we’ll probably have another month (at least!) of hot weather before our actual cooler weather is here to stay. Nevertheless, I’ve started curating my fall fashion wishlist that’s easy for me to reference and update as I find items I like.
I’m very much a fewer, finer person in my wardrobe and especially for heavier knits as we don’t get to wear them as often or as long in the southeast. I like to purchase a couple of great quality knits each F/W and slowly build my collection over time. The ones I’ve splurged on in previous years are still my favorites to pull out each season and I love repeat wearing them as often as I can!
knits: I’ve been waiting for a sale to strike at JK. Her pieces can get pricey, but they’ve become some of my favorites season after season. Her cocoon cardigan was my first purchase 3 years ago & still one of my go-to’s each f/w. I ordered this beechwood sweater and love that it’s a cotton option so I can wear it longer. This grey cardigan is perfect for work or with jeans and I love the olive coat for effortless style (hello early morning drop offs!).
footwear: these brown croc loafers are top of my list and a timeless pair I’ll wear for years to come. I’ve seen the Chanel denim flats circulating social media, but it feels more of a trend to me so I’d opt for this inexpensive pair to see how often I’d wear them first. These shearling sandals are a departure of the norm for me, but I’m excited to wear them with jeans, casual dresses and to/from pilates.
miscellaneous: excited to try these sweatpants, want to order this tweed dress for work, can’t get over how good this celine-inspired bag is for only $50!, the workhorse brown and black belt that will perfectly compliment all those high waisted pants.
xx
Ordered the celine-inspired bag and can’t wait for it to deliver! Thanks for the rec!
